Hydraulic Cutter Machine / Model Cutter RS-2000 / 48 Ton · 240mm Opening · 720 Bar / Noida · India
Cutter RS-2000 · Hydraulic Rescue Tool

Hydraulic Cutter Machine, rated for 48 tons of cutting force.

A hydraulically actuated rescue and extrication tool: two equal, opposite blade arms open and close symmetrically through mechanical joints to cut through obstructions. Purpose-built for road accident, railway accident, aircraft accident and building-collapse rescue operations — breaking doors, windows and roof beams, and dismantling vehicles to free trapped occupants.

About

Symmetric jaws. Full load-holding.

The equipment is designed such that, via a hydraulically activated piston, two equal, opposite blade arms are symmetrically opened and closed by mechanical joints, cutting objects cleanly and under control.

Full load-holding function, even when disconnected from the hydraulic supply.

All cutters and combi tools in this range ensure full load-holding function when disconnected from the hydraulic supply — the jaws stay clamped on the load, which is critical when a rescue operation is interrupted mid-cut or the tool is handed off between operators.

The hydraulic tool is specially designed for rescue operations such as road accidents, railway accidents, aircraft accidents and building collapse. It can break doors, windows and roof beams through cutting or spreading, and can dismantle vehicles to free and save trapped occupants.

Operating Principle

A hydraulically activated piston drives two equal, opposite blade arms that open and close symmetrically through mechanical joints. This balanced-jaw geometry keeps the cutting load centered on the workpiece, so the tool bites cleanly through structural steel, vehicle frames, door and window members, and roof-beam sections without deflecting sideways under load.

Safe Handling and Care

Never make any modification, addition or conversion that might affect safety without approval — this also applies to installation and adjustment of the safety device and relief valve. Aggressive materials such as acid, lye, solvent and vapor can damage the tool; where exceptional operation under such conditions or contact with these materials is unavoidable, the whole tool must be thoroughly cleaned afterward to prevent seal and surface damage.

Rescue-Site Deployment

Built specifically for the rescue environment: road accidents, railway accidents, aircraft accidents and building collapses. The cutter can break doors, windows and roof beams and, working with cutting or spreading action, can dismantle vehicles to save trapped occupants. Full load-holding function even after disconnection from the hydraulic supply means rescue crews can pause mid-operation without the jaws releasing the load.

FAT / Field Verification Points

  • Visual and dimensional inspection of blade arms, pivot joints and jaw serrations
  • Cutting-force and blade-opening verification against 48-ton / 240 mm rating
  • Working-pressure and test-pressure hold check at 720 bar / 750 bar
  • Load-holding retention check with hydraulic supply disconnected
  • Hand-pump and power-pack hose, coupling and seal integrity check
  • Weight verification against 17.5 kg rated specification

FAQ

Common questions.

Q01 What is the cutting force and blade opening?
The Cutter RS-2000 delivers 48 tons of cutting force with a 240 mm blade opening, and can cut round bar stock up to 28 mm in diameter.
Q02 What working pressure does it operate at?
Working pressure is 720 bar, with the unit factory tested to 750 bar for a proven safety margin.
Q03 Does the cutter hold its load if the hydraulic hose is disconnected?
Yes. The cutter and combi-tool range are designed with full load-holding function even when disconnected from the hydraulic supply, which keeps the jaws clamped on the load during interrupted rescue operations.
Q04 What rescue scenarios is it designed for?
Road accidents, railway accidents, aircraft accidents and building-collapse rescue operations — breaking doors, windows and roof beams, and cutting or spreading to dismantle vehicles and free trapped occupants.
Q05 How much does the unit weigh?
17.5 kg, which allows single-operator handling on confined accident and collapse sites.
Q06 Who manufactures the Hydraulic Cutter Machine?
Neometrix Engineering Pvt Ltd, Noida, India.
