    What it does

    What each system does.

Four jobs cover almost every gas requirement: store it, make it, push it to pressure and deliver it.

Store liquidVacuum insulation keeps liquid oxygen or nitrogen cold with very little boil-off. See the vertical storage tank (to 20,000 L), the tank and dewar and the portable nitrogen container.
Move liquidTanker and dispenser vehicles carry liquid oxygen to where it is used, including aircraft LOX converters. See the liquid oxygen tanker vehicle and the 800 L dispenser.
Make nitrogenPlants and vehicles produce nitrogen on site instead of buying cylinders. See the PSA nitrogen plant, the self-generating service cart and the UGSSN2 vehicle.
Boost and chargeBoosters raise nitrogen from cylinder or plant pressure to the pressure a job needs. See the boosting station, the nitrogen cart and the tyre charging rig.
Distribute and purgeManifolds and pipelines deliver gas to the point of use, and purging clears circuits. See the manifold system, the gas distribution system and the gas pipeline systems.

    Choosing

    Choosing cryogenic and nitrogen systems.

    Five questions settle most selections.

Start with the gas, the volume and where it is used — the system follows.
    • Which gas? Liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen or gaseous nitrogen decides the family above.
    • How much? Give the daily volume or tank size, from a 200 L container to a 20,000 L tank.
    • What purity and pressure? Nitrogen ranges from 95% to 99.999% purity, and boosters reach up to 415 kg/cm².
    • Fixed or mobile? Tanks, trolleys, carts and vehicles each suit a different site.
    • Which standard? Tell us whether you need EN 13458-2, ASME VIII, ISO 7396-1 or PESO documentation.

For oxygen generation, see our oxygen products. For related reading, see pressure testing machines.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions.

Plain-language answers, drawn from the individual product pages.

Q · 01 What is a cryogenic liquid oxygen storage tank?
It is a vacuum-insulated vessel that stores oxygen as a liquid at very low temperature. Neometrix builds 10,000 to 20,000 L vertical tanks with boil-off below 0.45%, to EN 13458-2 and ASME VIII-1, for medical, industrial and aerospace use.
Q · 02 Can you supply smaller liquid oxygen and nitrogen containers?
Yes. There is an 800 L liquid oxygen dispenser on a towable trolley, a 600 L tank with a 250 L dewar, and SS 304 portable liquid nitrogen containers from 200 to 450 L with evaporation of 2% a day or less.
Q · 03 What purity of nitrogen can you produce?
The PSA nitrogen plant delivers 95% to 99.999% purity from a carbon molecular sieve, and the service carts and vehicles deliver above 99.5% from membrane generators.
Q · 04 What pressure can your nitrogen boosters reach?
The boosting station reaches 300 bar, the nitrogen cart with booster reaches 415 kg/cm² with no electrical power, and the self-generating service cart delivers 303 bar.
Q · 05 Do you supply medical gas pipelines?
Yes. The medical and industrial gas pipeline systems are built to ISO 7396-1, with triple-source supply, automatic changeover and nitrogen-purged copper distribution.
Q · 06 Can the systems be built to order?
Yes. Most of these systems are engineered to order. Send the gas, volume, pressure and the standard you work to, and we will propose a configuration.
Q · 07 How does a PSA nitrogen plant work?
A PSA (pressure swing adsorption) nitrogen plant passes compressed air through towers of carbon molecular sieve, which hold back oxygen and let nitrogen through; the towers swap roles automatically. The Neometrix PSA nitrogen generation plant delivers on-site nitrogen at 95% to 99.999% purity, PLC-automated, for food, pharmaceutical and defence use.
Q · 08 Do you make a large capacity storage tank for liquid oxygen?
Yes. The cryogenic liquid oxygen vertical storage tank is a vacuum-insulated tank of 10,000 to 20,000 L with boil-off below 0.45%, built to EN 13458-2 and ASME VIII-1 for medical, industrial and aerospace use.
Q · 09 What is a laboratory gas distribution system?
It delivers gases from cylinders or a supply to laboratory panels. The Neometrix gas distribution system uses SS 316L manifolds to supply zero air, N2, H2, He and CH4 with under 5 ppb moisture and ATEX / CE gas detection; for hospitals, see the medical and industrial gas pipeline systems to ISO 7396-1.
Q · 10 Do you make a CO2 filling machine or a high pressure nitrogen pump?
Yes. The CO₂ and N₂ filling system fills cylinders to 3,400 PSI CO₂ and 4,500 PSI N₂ with Haskel pumps, and the nitrogen gas boosting station acts as a high pressure nitrogen pump, boosting to 300 bar for cylinder filling, purging and accumulator charging.
